We went to Welling Ward for Imogen Bosoah's blessing, I spend a lovely time in Nursery with Imogen and Leo.

August 2011 - My birthday

Its been a long time since I have updated the family blog but with Russell married and in Oxford and Hannah married now and living in Provo, Utah, I decided I should get back on here and keep us all updated. I plan to keep up to date from now and gradually catch up on the main events that I have missed (like weddings!).

This week I had my 50th Birthday! To mark this auspicious occasion Tim bought me a digital SLR with 2 extra lens. I'm so excited about this and I will upload a few pictures that I have taken with it this week. (or others have taken like the one above! Notice its with the lens that blurs the background)

Hannah's Graduation Ceremony

Mum went to USA for Hannah's Graduation Ceremony, there were two ceremony's over two days, the first was for the whole of BYU and the second was for just the facility that Hannah graduated from.

Dorset Mini Holiday

On Saturday August 1st it was my birthday so Tim, Juliette, Jeremy and I went camping to Dorset. Where we camped was right by the beach and so we decided to do some fossil hunting while we were there. We all had a great time, and I really enjoyed my birthday. For my birthday i got a new camera which I'm very excited to start using.

Russell and Amy Got Engaged

Russell proposed to Amy Page in May 2009. She said yes so now Amy is joining the family.

St. George 2009

Hannah, Brett and some of Brett's family went to St. George for the Parade of Homes. Which is an event where you look around lots of amazing homes - some are absolutely massive and ridiculous and some of them are cute and give you good ideas. Whilst there they also visited the St George Temple and the narrows which is a really thin gap in a rock that you walk through, played lots of games, went to the hot tub every night, some shopping and visited lots of cute little cafes and restaurants. The weather was beuatiful and overall it was a very enjoyable trip to have a break from school.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Tim and I went on a weekend getaway for Valentines day. We went to Winchester with Nathan and Becky Bowles. Winchester is where Jane Austen grew up so we visited a lot of places that inspired her books. Below are some pictures of our fun weekend.

We all travelled up to Leeds to see Mike and Becky get married and it was an absoltely beautiful day. CONGRATULATIONS Mike and Becky Urie!

CHRISTMAS TIME

All the children got up early and open their stocking presents and then Tim and I joined htem downstairs to open the Christmas presents under the tree. We all had lots of fun opening our presents together. We then had lots of fun preparing the Christmas dinner (using the Jaime Oliver cookbook of course)...which was delicious. The Bowles arrived and we all ate together. We had lots of fun playing with Jeremy's Christmas present which was table top football. After dinner we even went out for a very cold trip on the boat.

Santa's Little Helpers

Hannah and I went to my work Christmas Party to have fun and help out. The Mrs Clause didn't turn up so Hannah got to be Mrs Clause in the Santas Grotto for the Christmas party.

Temple Square Christmas Lights

Brett and Hannah went with Brandon and Tamsin to see the temple square Christmas lights. The glasses are these cool 3D glasses that make all the lights turn into a picture - like a snowman, Christmas tree, Santa etc, they are so funny - and we got some funny looks wearing them!

Juliette Visited USA

Juliette went to visit Hannah in America. They went to the Arches National Park and visited the SLC Temple. They both had a lot of fun together!!!

Fall - Another one!

Another "fall", Tim fell on the step by our back door and broke a metatarsel!

Not very fast on crutches but is getting better at it. This cast has been replaced by a smaller one (just foot and ankle) and he now has a trendy shoe!

October 2008 - Fall

Jez after a rugby match - dislocated shoulder and back injury. A few days later he came out in a rash and I took him to the doctors, diagnosis - Shingles! His injury caused the dormant virus to activate!

Hannah had a "Fall" and broke her arm in three places! (she wouldn't oblige me with a picture!)

Kent 2008 U16's 10 a side rugby tournament

Jeremy competed in the Kent under 16's, 10 a side rugby tournament in Ashford on Sunday 21st September 2008. The Maidstone team came second.

Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tamsin and Brandon invited Brett and Hannah to Las Vegas for a week holiday before BYU classes started up again. They stayed in the Tahiti Joe's hotel and had a really fun time. They went from the 26th - 31st August 2008.
